Izevl Biography

A Post-Industrial, heavy trip nightmare that each member thrives upon, Izevl played their first show March of 2003 when Benzevl produced the Izevl Evil Carnival. Ever since, this powerhouse of noise has played most of the clubs in Hollywood as well as the Metal Mindrage II Festival in Maryland. Izevl has also played numerous events for RockCityNews, including the 2004 Rock City Awards, The Rockies. Izevl has also won 3 Rockies spanning 2003/2004..

Izevl was very notorious for playing a string of Saturday night shows in a Head-Shop front window on famous Sunset Boulveard, Hollywood. During the primetime cruise, Izevl was able to make thousands of impressions on motorists and passers-by alike, hourly. Izevl takes a very "Guerrilla-Warfare" approach to marketing and tries to find spots were you would never expect to see a band such this. Their show has even been able to be caught at a major Corporate event (CEO wanted to scare the sales-reps).

The music of Izevl starts to blur the lines between Hardcore, Industrial, Electronica, and Metal. Izevl is able to achieve their sonically heavy sound in part to circuit-bent toys and vintage electronic gear before they mulitate it with old-school metal guitar, bass and female vocals.

From playing large venues to even warehouse parties, this tour-de-force known as Izevl are continuing to unleash their sonic brutality to fans of many different subcultures and genres.
